The LEGO Movie Minifig Series

Hello forum   

I said I would not get in to the minifigs but I have. And was wondering if anyone has seen the latest series, based on The LEGO movie, in any shop in Australia. I believe they were released on the 1st January world wide (Or maybe I got that wrong?) but I have searched all my usual haunts and have not seen one box of them!!

Have any of you guys seen them for sale anywhere???

Myers and BigW have them.

Oh Myers, I didn't check there. The BigW I checked didn't have them yet, maybe they have got them in since, it was about a week ago I checked... Thanks LT   

Hi guys, I happened to buy a full box of 60 and a full set from a local supplier on EBay last week which I am little suspicious of having only found out today they are possibly pre-ordered from overseas.

Fingers crossed they arrive in the near future because this certainly hasn't been a good start to my collecting of the LEGO Movie Series !!!

Some of the independent retailers had them at Brickvention last week so they are around in Australia.

I have a few from this series , The actual designs of the figures i like, but when it comes to quality of some of them i must say they just feel cheap, the legs feel loose and some of the hats are barely connected to the head and fall of very easily.

That's a shame if they are lower quality. They have just appeared near me so I will wait and see what they are like...

There have been a lot of posts on Eurobricks about the quality,seems some figures are more prone than others to be loose, the lady construction worker is one of them, her hat and hair is one piece and falls off quite easily.

Well I finally got myself into gear! And have bought 5 out of the 7 I really want:



I really wanted Emmet and the coffee guy too but I accidentally mistook Lord Business for Emmet and couldn't find a coffee guy (so if anyone wants a Lord Business and has a coffee guy/Emmet for a trade let me know )

I see what you mean about the Lady Construction worker, but you have to hold her by her hat and shake her for it to fall off... but still....

Anyway, I continue my search for 2 more
