Today i bought the new Lego 2014 camper van with canoe 60057, from Big W , i really wanted the new tow truck but they didn't have any :9 i have to wait until i get to TTP or Marion.

9395 is staying built as the A model. 8436 is going to be the base for my next project. 8421 is getting broken down for parts.

During the week I found Friends series 2 animal sets reduced to $1.25 each at my local supermarket, I bought like 20 and then realised how cheap they actually were and bought the last 50 the next day!
I wanted to keep them sealed as I could make a decent profit in a year or 2 but ripped into every packet and gave my spare parts a decent top up.
Anyone have ides what to do with many many ugly friends animals, lol.

Nice find, im not a fan of Friends, however at that price who wouldn't buy them for spare parts.

Today i bought some Lego movie minifigs, i was surprised i got everyone i wanted.  
This series  to me was the easiest  one to feel for minifigs in the bag's. (Sorry about the photo it was taken with my terrible webcam)

Dunno if bought today means ordered, paid for or received, but I have on order a ton of monorail parts. Stay tuned....

As planned for todays buy I went back into my local Big W and came out with the Mountain Hut firmly bricked in my arms as the pre see of resistance from yesterday was too much to bare for another day   

Today i received My Lego Factory Train 10183


I almost can not bring myself to open it, due to it costing me a whopping $295   

that will go down as a classic... if i had the cash i'd buy one copy per model variation

That's a great set but I think LEGO hadn't really worked out how to sell to AFOLs yet when it was released. It was eventually discounted to clear the remaining stock. I bought two for $90 each along with a half price Holiday train. It also suffered from being released between 9V and RC trains and there was a lot of uncertainty as to what form LEGO trains would take in the future.

This can easily be seen as a forerunner of the Creator trains.

Today after a little bit over 2 weeks of waiting my Lego Simpsons house arrived from the US.Even with the terrible exchange rate i ended up paying $220 Au for it that includes postage

Next is the New modular, then no buying Lego for a while.

Ooop's, I forgot my DC Super Heroes.......

Only one more to get before the Marvel ones come out......plus two left in the city range....gee, then I only have to wait for mid-year Marvel and City Trains......I'm good at this collecting game !

Truth to tell, I guess the tow truck and car carrier plus that huge police copter and police station.....surprised by the coolness and modern look of the station itself......though the cell block being exposed......maybe issues with minifig-rights eh ?   

I bought my first ever SW set , mainly for the firing guns & the red guards.
This set was hard to find I went to K-mart,Big-W,Target & David Jones, they had none of these sets and the Lego Isle's in these stores were very empty, the only place i could find it was at Myer's which cost me $23
