i got the town square tonight @ my local BigW... there was 20 sets or so on the shelves at the sale price... got one quick.

im going to be on a spending spree this week...........

I received advice from a BigW staff member the other day to call the store a few days in asvance of the sale to reserve one. But some stores are a bit foolish and put sets out too early.......and like a tiger I pounce ! LOL

My Big W has not got any new sets yet except for the new large creator house, its pretty nice. When the big toy sale starts in 8 days a Big W I will be putting lots of sets on layby.... like the Friends riding school for $98, Friends pool for $40, Town square $124, both creator houses, flat back pickup truck and the Octon truck both for $20 each and probably some of the Coast guard sets.......now can anyone help me pay for these? lol.

This space gem arrived yesterday and the condition is excellent. It's the first release version from '79 too legohappy

i went nuts at Myer tonight... probably the largest splurge i have ever done. will let you know when i sort it all out legohappy

im getting closer to having the 100 32x32 baseplates, i will be able to start my village soon!

Went to the local BigW today and found an unopened box of S10 minifigs.

The car key quickly sliced it open and 30 mins later, no Mr Gold but the remaining 2 to complete my set.

I also kept 2 librarians and a grandad.

I can rest easy tonight knowing that I now have 10 complete sets.

After going to the Myer sales last week and not buying anything tonight I went my local Kmart and got these sets:
9395 Pick up Truck - $69
42002 Hovercraft
42007 Moto Cross Bike

Once I get my desk and shelves sorted out over the weekend I will be building them, this is my third copy of 9395 and will be used to make the B model.

I am also thinking of breaking down the F1 car (42000) and building the B model racing truck, has anybody done this? Did you like it?

today's hoarde is from BigW:

2x new creator houses (makes it 3 in total)
2x creator tree house
1x SW A-Wing
8 x baseplates

that's it for me i think for a little while.. gotta rest the funds for the ewok village, jabbas sail barge, and the opera house... but i will never say never
