Review: 8402 - Sports Car
Hi all. I'm putting my money where my mouth is and contributing a review, since I had suggested that more would help liven things up!! :
Anyway, I thought I'd review my latest addition, the Sports Car. I bought this as I love City and this was one of the latest additions in the City line. I bought it from K-Mart on sale, although the regular price isn't much more. It's great for juniors to build as it's really easy. As it goes together fairly quickly, the little ones aren't waiting for it and nagging, so everybody's a winner!
Name: Sports Car
Theme: City
Year: 2009
Pieces: 68
Minifigs: 1
Price: AUD $12.99
Front of the Box:
Back of the box:
Contents of Box:
Random page from instruction manual:
Man and phone:
"RACV, I was wondering if you could help me. I seem to have struck a tree and my car is in pieces....."
Left over bits:
The complete set:
Overall, it's a nice little addition to my City. A good little car with a nicely designed emergency phone. A few of these phones could be positioned around your layout quite eaily. The only downfall for me was no luggage for the man, as well as nowhere to store it in the car. Other than that, I reccommend it!
(Sorry about the pics being cut off. I uploaded them to Brickshelf at 1024 wide, but the forum only accepts 800 wide. I'll know for next time! twitch See the un-cut pictures at my Brickshelf page, follow the link in my sig block).

Fantastic review there! Your photography is good, as is the wrap up of the set. I might have to buy this.
