MOC: Bakery with townhouse
My first serious attempt at a city/town building, this 'Bakery' was put together over the course of a week.
I had this completed a few days ago but hadn't got around to posting it.
It dosen't have an interior.
High-res pictures are here.
I'm quite happy with these photos. Enjoy.

Cool, - I really like that. It's a very plain building, but all the details are so beautifully done that it's lifted into being something quite exceptional.
Edit: And I meant to say that the street lamp on the footpath is a very nice piece of work on its own.

I like it too. Simple and eye pleasing. What windows and doors did you use?
PS, Watch out for the Health Inspector, He will close you down if he see's that rat.

The idea for the street lamp was inspired by the Harry Potter set ''Diagon Alley''.
My main idea was to build something mostly from 1x2 bricks.

The doors are made from 1x4 bricks, the 'door handle' is a minfig hand inside a 1x2 with a hole, for a technic pin.
They don't open or close!
All the Dark green windows came from a Grand Emporium set. On Bricklink they are called Window 1 x 2 x 3 Flat Front and Window 1 x 2 x 2 Flat Front.
