SydLUG @ AMRA October Long Weekend

Hi All,

Just a heads up that SydLUG will have a nice big display at the NSW AMRA show on the October long weekend (2-4 October), at the Whitlam Leisure Centre in Liverpool.

Hi there Intrastella. Is the display for the whole weekend? I'm working on the Saturday, but might be able to have a look on the Sunday if its still going.

The display is up for all three days including the Monday, we have a 6x9 m area. Definitely try to drop in, it is the biggest Lego display SydLUG currently does in Sydney.

I was hoping to come up from Wollongong to have a look, my family did a trip to Canberra BrickExpo and enjoyed the show. Glad we were in the first 50 people to enter.
Anyhow we are looking to visit your display in October. Do you know which day is often the best? I am looking at Saturday but if your still setting up I would leae it until Monday. Do you usually have many people attend?
Do you know what time each day it starts?

I know where the Whitlam centre is so thats a good start!

Looking forward to it, returning from the dark years.

Hi Brettbert,

I wasn't there last year so don't know which day to recommend. We are setting up on the Friday so it will all be running on the Saturday, Sunday and Monday. I would probably recommend not coming on the first day as it is likely the busiest, but I really don't know.

Starts at 9 each day, ends at 5 on Sat & Sun and 4 on the Monday. Keep in mind that there will be heaps of cool model rail layouts (only one Lego display I think) so plan to spend a few hours. Flyer below:
