I have decided to enter (well that is the plan) a music video competition thing using stop motion. I have never done stop motion so I thought I should try it first.

It turns out all my videos end with the death of everyone involved... is there something my brain is not telling me (YET).

So here is the video if you are so inclined to watch it (shortest video of all time).

my video

(be warned, this is my first stop motion attempt). Now only 10 days to do a whole video...

Edit, changed it a little

Edit again: playing with frame speed and loops: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Pmutw_90qY

mattman; be afraid, be very afraid.

One eye open is a great idea because you never know when a lego BCC bus will destroy your rock band.

Great little vid, AnitaE.

Much better with the music suggested by shieldzie1.

It's good, very good for a first animation. Although it isn't very smooth. Not a fault with the animation as such, but you can make it much smoother by using a higher frame rate (more stills per second, less jerkieness). What software were you using to animate this?

I am using corel video studio pro 4X.

I will try some different frame rates (I was using 10 I think, I will try 5).

I do know what you mean by the jerkiness (I have been thinking about it also), I have been trying some more this morning, and am taking more photos to be able to try and make it smoother... but the short attention span part of me wants to speed it up legohappy

This one was done using half the frame speed (or double, it is called 5 and I was using 10).

You are right, it makes it look much smoother.
