Greetings from Adelaide! Empty Greetings from Adelaide!

Post by haz Sat 30 Jul 2011, 6:08 pm

Just a quick hello from a new member in Adelaide.

I've been into Lego as long as i can remember and have seen my collection/s come and go (leaving a LOT of SW sets with an ex isn't recommended), but i'm now slowly rebuilding with the help of an understanding girlfriend and funds supplied by a grown-ups wage. :D

I'm into any sort of Lego really, be it Town, Space, Castle or Technic (i can appreciate a good design in anything), although i mostly enjoy the Town/City sets nowadays. I recently scored two Fire Stations (7208) for cheap and a Public Transport Station (8404) which were all great sets to spend a few evenings on the table with.

I like to MOC as much as possible, but i guess i wouldn't be alone in saying that a lack of pieces and time are restrictions for me. I use MLCad a lot and have designed a MOC which i then ordered parts online to build.

Not real sure what else to say, besides feel free to ask me any questions. If i can, i'll answer them. legohappy

Hi Haz,

I am similar, I like a variety of Lego, but I most enjoy building town and city (probably because I am really useless at technic and space).

I love the public transport set, but I am yet to find a cheap one... so I wait and hope my husband buys it and surprises me with it (I am hinting Matt*... ).

Can't wait to see some of your MOCs either in brick or MLCad (including the one you ordered parts for).

And I think losing Lego in a breakup is always a fear :P

*Matt is my Lego building (also forum member) husband.

Hi Anita!

I had a look through your album and some of those pictures look familiar. I must've stumbled across them before while trawling through Brickshelf. legohappy I really like your Goodies bicycle and your playground.

So where we can post up pictures of our MOCs? Should i just post them into the specific theme area, or is there another way to do it?
