It's free, it gets rid of those annoying unrelated ads when browsing the boards, and it only takes a few seconds to set up before you can start posting and discussing LEGO with the great ANZFOL community!

We look foward to seeing you on the boards!

Hi All,

I've seen the ANZFOL logo a few times on EB so I thought I should join up here to try it out.

I'm 43, my first sets were the large vehicles biplane and dump truck from 1971ish, My dark ages started just after the first lot of Classic Space and the Yellow Castle. I'm mostly a train and city type (because I cant afford evrything i want legosad ) but have a bit of castle and space stuff as well.

I'm from Melbourne, and attended my first Brickvention this year, where I took part in the castle group display. I also attend MUGS meetings (Melbourne Lego Users Group). For those who are interested there's a meeting once a month or so, (the next one is tommorow at Amaroo Neighbourhood Centre, Chadstone map: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?i=80874). The MUGS keep in contact at http://au.dir.groups.yahoo.com/group/mugs-list/ for those interested in future meetings. Brickvention details can be found here http://www.brickventures.com/. Since I'll be at the MUGS meeting tommorow I'll let them know about this forum then.

I'm currently interested in building MOC's for my train layout, which will be a european social-democratic eutopia with rolling stock based mostly on the DB (german federal railways).

PS I looked for a train driver smillie to sign off with legosad:

Howdy and welcome! I'm a big fan of Lego Trains especially the 4558 Metroliner and 4547 Club Car but I've held off collecting Town/City and Train sets since it would start a dangerously expensive precedent for me. Make sure you post some pics of your train MOCs! legohappy:
