The one at my Kmart was an empty box along with the ATOT Laati set.

Nice dummy sealed boxes as far as I could tell.

749 is a hard pill to swallow considering I paid 500 for mine last year.

Often the big retailers will have large sets around at or above RRP for a while before a sale where the sets will be heavily discounted. The large sets act as a bit of an attention getter. If they are lucky enough to sell them at the high price good, if not the heavily reduced price will draw people to the store, so its a win/win marketing wise.

The dummy boxes mean they dont have to keep expensive stock, but may promt customers to order one.

Yea, I know. I picked it up for $400 when they had the wrong pricing for it on S@H, and until I picked up a layby from Kmart last night it was the most I'd spent at once in a long time.

Should be ~$635 this week though with the 15% off. Not sure how that compared to the price it went for in the toy sale 6 weeks ago...
