Castle Concept Empty Castle Concept

Last year I decided to get into castle building and ordered a truck load of bricks, but I was having serious trouble with the basic design. A few weeks ago I decided to give it another shot so I layed out the bricks in Leocad first. Below is the concept:

Castle Concept 33885373.th

To get an idea of the final scale, one stud is equal to 8 studs in real life. I'm currently working on the back section which separates from the front to view the inside.

I'll post actual photos when I get some more work done on it. Would appreciate any feedback/comments along the way!

Good, interesting shape, will require some tricky techniques and a load of bricks to pull off. I think the effort will be well worth the outcome.

Looking forward to seeing any developments.

Did a lot of work on this on the weekend.

Just set up my brickshelf here: http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=397148

Until they are moderated:

The turret is only temporary. Will be completely redone. I believe I ripped that design off any way!
