What New Theme would you like to see.

For a bit of fun..

We've been seeing a lot of movie tie ins lately as well as long established film and animation franchises produced in LEGO

what would you like to see.

To start off.

I'd love to see Lego do a line for TINTIN, Herge's comic character. I think the 1930's -1950's have such a wide scope for some beautiful nostalgic pieces. From Classic cars to period buildings. I think this would also blend in well with their current line of modular type buildings and if marketed well could introduce some more AFOLs to the cause. Tintin is coming out 2011 so I really wish Lego did do a movie tie in.

Other lines. Which I doubt would ever appear..

Some more m+ rated themes. E.g. Aliens, Predator. Cthulhu.

all of which aren't suited to their younger main market, and would just disenchant some parents. But whose to stop me from trying to moc it myself ..

I'd like to see a prohibition era theme, crooked cops, gangsters, tea parties, flappers. As with Tin Tin has lots of scope for nice buildings and vehicles. Of course we could easily moc most of it anyway, and some of the Indy vehicles would be usable as they are.

I would definately like an age of sail/Napoleonic theme. Not pirates, but exploration and navy warships. I think that would be cool, although it'll never happen.

Yes. love those indi sets. shanghai chase, venice canal chase. Just the minifgs alone has so much potential especially for dioramas and for brickfilms. Tuxedo indiana jones cold even be used as James Bond..

It is indeed getting close, now we need another nationality for it to fight, or a treasure ship to protect.
That set is certainly on my wish list, although probably not on my "to buy" list. I have a lot of Pirate sets already, and the money would probably be better spent buying parts to MOC another, more detailed ship. After all, MOCing is far more enjoyable than following instructions, isn't it?

I'm still a babe in the woods with respect to decent moc'ing.. but I'll get there slowly. I've been slowly upgrading standard sets to make them bigger or more interesting.

I do like the imperial flagship myself and I'm thinking it might be good to even try and expand the initial size using some parts of the troll warship i've got in pieces(thanks to the kids- wrecking it).

I quite agree. There's lots of potential for a theme like this, the modular Fire Station would fit this theme nicely!!

I hadn't thought of that but you're quite correct. In fact it would be easily converted to a Mafia warehouse.

World War II, but there's not much chance of TLC making Wehrmacht figs.

Love to see a quarry theme, in mini fig scale with huge trex trucks massive bucket excavator & draggline , mine operation ect ect

hey this is my first post so obviously I'm new to the board!

I would like to see a Lego Circus theme - they have done something like it in duplo but a lego circus would be amazing! there's buildings, figures, animals, cars, wagons, tents, rides and even trains. You could cover a great deal - either something modern or something from like the 50's / 60's era!
