Do legos float, or sink in water?

It depends on how many you have used. I say that because individually they do float, but when constructed together into something their combined weight will sink.

Welcome to ANZFOL, arrrr!

Normally, LEGO floats. However, take a small wooden boat for example. submerge it and then let go. it should float to the surface. Then take it out and turn it upside down. there will be little bubbles in all the holes. this is what makes the boat float back to the surface. If you pop all the bubbles while the boat is underwater, it will sink to the bottom. Items that don't have any holes in the bottom, like tiles, should sink strait away. so on the vast majority, LEGO floats.

Good luck with the story! legohappy
