Hummingbird House in LEGO Bricks

2 months ago, BrisBricks was approached by The Wesley Mission to ask if we could build for them a model of Hummingbird House.
HH will be a purpose built respite hospice for families with a terminally ill child or teenager. It is being built at Chermside in Brisbane.
Members of BrisBricks took up the challenge which culminated yesterday with the model being displayed at the sod turning ceremony by the PM.
It was great to talk LEGO with the architect, surveyors, engineers,and builders on the project. We delighted in letting the builder know that we had finished before him.
To say that the project team were happy with the model would be an understatement.

It was a great pleasure for the team to be able to do something to help a great community project.

It looks great! Can you also post a photo of the actual building when the construction finishes on the actual building?

Brick Tango, we are heading out to Chermside this Saturday for an awareness raising fete next to the construction site. They are hoping that it will be finished by the end of the year.
