Re: What I bought today
Yesterday I decided to take advantage of the last day of double VIP point at LEGO.com and bought myself two sets, the first since January!!! I've been trying to save up for this
And because everyone's raving about the ice cream truck (it does look cool):
Awaiting delivery

Lt, I beg to disagree.
I recall reaching up to a mr whippy van to buy an ice cream.
The adult owner is standing on a floor which is above the axles.
I think that this is in proportion.

Re: What I bought today
Have you built one ?
I have the girl must hang from the side it's one brick too high and you were a kid right ?
The town moderator on EB has redesigned it so it's more minifig friendly.

Re: What I bought today
Finally got around to buying the GE before the price rise, Im actually buying 2, one from The Lego shop for $250 with free postage (should be here soon) and then to my surprise my local overpriced toyworld had them for $250 so I put another one away on lay buy. Wish I had visited toyworld first I would have at least one right now!

Re: What I bought today
During the past week I firstly bought the following sets whilst attending Brixhibition Launceston 2014.
BTTF DeLorean Time Machine # 21103 for $59.99 @ 20% off = $48.00
I doubt that anybody would of got it for a better price and I am glad I waited patiently to get this one.
Small Cottage # 31009 for $39.99 @ 20% off = $32.00
Secondly I bought the hard cover book called Extreme Bricks having seen an exhibitor featured in it who displayed at the above event !!!
It is nice to know that Tasmanians can make an impression alongside other exhibitors around the world

Re: What I bought today
Officeworks has some great 120 wide by 60 deep by 180 high shelving. I bought two units which solves my problem of storing and stacking layout modules.
I also found a cheap set 120 goods train to round out my collection :D

Re: What I bought today
I bought them last week, but they should come this week. I bought:
Fire Brigade
And
Mini Modulars
I have Palace Cinema, Pet Shop and The Town Hall on layby. These are a Christmas present from my husband...which is funny as I bought him. Lego for Christmas too lol
I am going to Bricklink the Green Grocer first, then Cafe Corner and lastly the Market Street, but these will be done over a long period of time.

Re: What I bought today
I have completed my Mini Modular, that was great to build. I liked the idea of one bag per building.
I received my Fire Brigade today. I can't wait to build this.
