Re: Prince of Persia and Toy Story
I thought Toy Story was supposed to be a Duplo theme? Meh, I like some of these figs. They could be useful for brickfilms! Thanks for sharing

Re: Prince of Persia and Toy Story
I think the green soldiers will be useful. Not for me, but useful. It is a bit odd that the minifigures for the other characters have larger legs and arms and heads than normal but it does make them more realistic to the films. I think the Buzz Lightyear figure is great, but I think Buzz is great so I would. I also like the claw aliens, but I doubt I'll be able to get enough to make a claw cabinette. :
: Some others have mentioned that there is likely to be more purple bricks because of the toy story sets which may be a good thing (I might make a rheingold train if I can get the right parts).
I dont really get upset if the licensed themes dont have a lot for me, as they are more expensive per brick anyway so I probably wouldn't buy them. Since bricklinkers tend to part them out (to sell the minifigs at a profit) I'm happy that the parts are available.
The Prince of Persia camel look cool though.

These do look interesting. The Mrs is sold on the Toy Story stuff, me not so much. The camel and ostrich from the P.O.P. stuff do look pretty cool though.

Not sure how relevant this will be to you guys (and girls) but Lego as we know own the rights now to do Disney stuff. As of only a week or to ago, Disney have bought out Marvel......this opens up the doors to do ALOT more super hero stuff. Not my fav gear, but always sells well. And lets face it, just how cool would a little lego Wolverine be (genuine though...sorry dude
