There is a new set coming out later this year. It is the LAAT/c with an AT-OT.

Here is a link for it

http://shop.lego.com/Product/?p=10195

I cut and pasted this from the description on it:

Flying through the skies of hostile planets, the Republic LAAT/c (Low Altitude Assault Transport/carrier) Dropship swoops down and deploys the AT-OT (All Terrain Open Transport) troop carrier for attacks on Separatist strongholds. Dropship features an opening cockpit, rotating front and ...

I got this set yesterday and its not a bad set. However it does have its short comings. This variant is the BTL-B y-wing which is the true y-wing as such. This was before all the extra panels were removed.

The other two variants are:

I got this set the other day. For those who have yet to see it or have no idea as what set it is, it's the new Vader's TIE. I say new because the old TIE was released in 2 different sets. One was a TIE battle set which came with the TIE/F TIE/Inc vaders tie (the TIE/Adv) and the drone fighter. The other set it came in was another battle set with the y-wing. The later set is the one I got.

Now obviously there have been some updates since the old one. The first being the color scheme. Back ...

This review I did in Oct 2006. And again I cut and pasted my review from FBTB.

Now seeing how I never did a review on it, I thought now would be a good as time as any.

Look 9/10

Likeness to film 9/10 looks like the real deal but get's 9 because of only 2 cannons per side.

Build 5/10 and 10/10 let me explain.

Okay the 5 is in regards to the triangle underside you make with a crap load of bley and dark plates. It is very weak and breaks at the slightest push. You can fix it, like ...

This set I have had for a while but have not yet done a review on it here. So to save time I simply cut and pasted my review from the old FBTB site before they changed. I have also added pics as well. For those who have already seen my folder at brickshelf then it won't be anything out of the ordinary.

As I also have the older y-wing I can do a comparison between the 2 but there is not much difference in size or look. The only real difference is the greebling that was put into the new ...

I got this today and was impressed by it's size and also the way it looks. It comes with Mace Windu and 2 clones, (a pilot and trooper.)

Now as I have not seen it in the movies and like most of us here waiting for the clone series to come to dvd I can't comment on how it looks to the film version.

But anyway here is my review on it.

Here is the reference on wookiepedia for it.

I did this review on FBTB in Feb 2007. However as it is a set that is still available, the review is still relevant.

Those of you like me who have the imperial shuttle will notice a very similar build design as far as the wings and shape is concerned. When I first saw the box I thought to myself it doesn't look that great, well I am happy to say that I have been proven wrong. It is going for $70AUD here at the moment at k-mart. Anyway enough babble and onto the review.

Likeness to film, ...

Hi all again, here is my brickshelf gallery for those who have a vested interest in modding the current designs into something a little better. I am not talking major overhauls here either. Just little adjustments. The biggest one I did was the mod done to the underside of my SD to make it more stable as the floor kept well you know falling apart. The other set I had to re-engineer as such was the y-wing. The rear hatch as most of you know was sort of an after thought on legos part. They only ...
